Mission & History
Kitsap Sexual Assault Center (KSAC) began in 1975 providing services to sexual assault victims and their non-offending family members in Kitsap County.
We provide therapy, support groups, advocacy, crisis
intervention, personal support, information and referral
services. We serve an average 650 people annually, including
victims/survivors and non-offending family members.
KSAC provides training for school personnel and other agencies throughout Kitsap County about how to respond to sexual assault disclosures, reporting procedures and community resources.
KSAC’s mission is to provide guidance and empowerment, without prejudice to those impacted by sexual assault and violent crimes through ethical and compassionate advocacy and therapeutic services.
